Celebrating This Vessel

"Ministering to the needs of women inside and outside the church"

MASTER VISION

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Bright Morning Star’s Celebrating This Vessel Ministry embodies several ministries committed to kingdom building inside and outside the church internationally. Its proper goal is to offer salvation through Jesus Christ and support women in their efforts to enter the kingdom of God so that they may find their place in kingdom building. John 3:3-8

The secondary biblical focus for Celebrating This Vessel is this, “And this I pray, that your love may about yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; that ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.” Philippians 1:9-11 KJV

This is an introduction of the birth of the vision for Celebrating This Vessel and the many endeavors that we believe will ensue through this vehicle. In our efforts to embrace a multicultural expression of God’s grace, we pray to ...”be made all things to all men that we might by all means save some”. I Corinthians 9:22-23 KJV

Additionally, we pray that this vehicle will help to restore our faith as women and to empower our minds with a fresh understanding of the will of God for our lives. “To bring new light to the “Power of the Human Spirit.” We pray to arm men with spiritual insight, consequently, helping them to build a deeper respect for this vessel called WOMAN! We aspire to equip women of all ages so that they may provide a more excellent example of true Godly virtue to the world.

The blessings of this awareness will come through the knowledge and understanding that God has given those who will lead this effort and the support from those whom we employ. We further submit that, we have not already been made perfect, but we are learning as we, together, strive towards Excellence. So in Celebrating This Vessel, we would like to offer this opportunity to become clearer in our personal walks with God and to become more focused on our roles in Kingdom Building!

Hereto, we introduce the mission of Celebrating This Vessel and the long-range goal of the Bright Morning Star Ministries. These vehicles will offer practical support to women within the community. Each ministry has visions and plans of its own. The secondary focus within this framework of ministries will be a chance for us to exchange our ashes for God’s Beauty. Ashes in the Old Testament symbolized a type of death and internal grief of the spirit when a catastrophic situation occurred in one’s life. The person would sit in ashes and wear sackcloth showing the devastation to their existence. This devastation still happens today to the human spirit. Much devastation today is in the form of abuse; sexual, verbal and emotion. Here is where we will glean our understanding and instruction of the healing processes required in life as we get the wounded back in the race. Consequently, many of us are ourselves, “Wounded Healers”. Isaiah 61:1-3

As the Founder, through Celebrating This Vessel, I purpose to actively exercise my love through the support and edification of women inside and outside the church to satisfy my “Woe Point”. That “Woe Point” energizes me through my compassion for women as I walk in Christ, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel” to needy and wounded women like I once was!

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Anita J. Glaster, LMSW
